[MV] LOONA(이달의 소녀) _ Why Not?
Impressive what LOONA presents with ‚Why Not‘. No, not mainstream like the just released ‚Lovesick Girls‘ by BLACKPINK, but on a high artistic level. So LOONA completely exceeds my expectations. With ‚So What‘ I couldn’t really befriend myself, is too striking for me and the music is rather average, especially compared to ‚Butteryfly‘, which is musically very creative. ‚Why Not‘ follows on from this and further raises the level. Especially the combination of the different levels makes me almost dizzy. The whole project seems somehow almost weightless and upwards lifting like Kim Lip @2:49 or like the light-footed dance on the moon @2:34. This music video has so many levels of expression, all of which have a high artistic significance in their own way, such as the individual scenes and their visual implementation, i.e. the expressiveness of the girls, e.g. how Heejin begins in the opening scene @0:13 with ‚I’m a Bad Girl‘, and then the dance in the supermarket @0:46 and many others. Every scene in itself is almost a work of art. In addition, there is the music, the singing, the Korean words and their phonetic resonence. Last but not least, the choreography. In hardly any other MV are these elements so perfectly combined and arranged and show particularly impressively what makes K-POP so interesting. This hardly achieves any other MV of the current POP music of any origin. Yes ‚Why Not‘ by Loona absolutely inspires me.

Beeindruckend was LOONA mit ‚Why Not‘ hier präsentiert. Nein Mainstream ist das nicht, wie etwa das gerade erschienene ‚Lovesick Girls‘ von BLACKPINK, dafür aber auf einem hohen künstlerischem Niveau. Damit übertrifft LOONA meine Erwartungen komplett. Mit ‚So What‘ konnte ich mich nicht so recht anfreunden, ist mir zu plakativ und die Musik eher durchschnittlich, vor allem verglichen mit ‚Butteryfly‘, was musikalisch sehr kreativ ist. Daran knüpft ‚Why Not‘ an und erhöht das Niveau weiter. Vor allem die Kombination der verschiedenen Ebenen macht mich fast schwindelig. Das ganze Projekt erscheint irgendwie fast schwerelos und emporzusteigen so wie Kim Lip @2:49 oder der Tanz auf dem Mond @2:34. Dieses Musik-Video hat so viele Ausdrucksebenen, die alle für sich schon einen hohen künsterlischen Ausdruck haben, wie die einzelnen Szenen und ihre visuelle Umsetzung, das heißt die Präsenz der Girls, z.B. wie Heejin in der Anfangsszene @0:13 mit ‚I’m a Bad Girl‘ beginnt, und dann der Tanz im Supermarkt @0:46 und viele andere. Jede Szene ist für sich genommen schon fast ein Kunstwerk. Hinzu kommt die Musik, der Gesang, die koreanischen Worte und ihre phonetische resonenz. Nicht zuletzt aber auch die Choreografie. In kaum einem anderen MV sind diese Elemente so perfekt kombiniert und arrangiert und zeigen besonders eindrucksvoll, was K-POP so interessant macht. Dies schafft kaum ein MV von aktueller POP-Musik egal welchen Ursprungs. Ja ‚Why Not‘ von Loona begeistert mich total.
